ROAD to Housing Act Becomes Law Without Trump’s Signature

Finally law: Last Friday at midnight, the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act became law without President Trump’s signature. After nearly a year of negotiations and decades of inaction, a flood of new federal housing policies will start to reshape how America builds.

What this means: From bringing down the price of manufactured homes, to incentivizing communities to allow more housing, the ROAD Act has a lot worth celebrating. Here at CITYBUILDER, we’re focused on how North Carolina’s state and local governments can implement the reforms from this bill to unlock more housing. Stay tuned!
